Sad. I wonder if the US will ever see a mainstream sporty bike without having to import it.

I don't think the market is big enough in the US for sport bikes. Cruisers, all day.

What He should have done was build on a modern American crusier to almost go against HD....but make his own mark in the segment...then add naked bikes maybe even jump into dirt bikes...

Sport bike should have been near last...after he have steady income. I cant think of many companys who make sport bikes only and surviving....especially on one sport bike.

I would have also just made a inline 4... a 650cc and 1000cc. possibly a 1500cc

sort of make them off the same block design if at all possible.

let them be slow...and if you decide to race..make a limited edition race model.

EBR Motorcycles Factory Liquidation | Motorcyclist

I estimate he will revive the brand at least one more time in his lifetime.

secretly I kinda want to see someone start a feasible american brand of sport bikes.

This time just make a screamer, then improve from there.

Someone probably will but I doubt it would be with a ICE. If an American wanted to standout in the sportbike industry, they would have to take the industry disruptor channel.
That means electric engine and a ton of trick electronic aids.
