There is just so much win in that video....Only way it could have been better is if the rider removed his helmet and revealed himself as Jesus or Antoine Dodson.

You're too used to the high rpm capability of an inline 4. The hyper redlines at 8k. If that's a streetfighter it still redlines at 10. Pretty low compared to most inline 4s.

True...but the reason I think it is a miss is because the revs continue to climb with the intermittent drop.

Maybe. I did notice he was shifting pretty much directly after the stutters. Which makes me think he was on the limiter. But you could be right.

On a side note... I already wanted to go to New Zealand... Now I REALLY want to go there.
