this sounds important. A friendly suggestion? I would probably p.m. or call him. I doubt he regularly checks my scrambler build thread.

New poster here...

I cannot wait to see the end result of this mod! I WAS looking to get a used monster but depending on how this shakes out I might wait and go the same route. Please keep us updated on progress!

So the bike came yesterday. Clean as a whistle and as advertised only 5k miles. Looks brand new. Front brakes suck, but the biggest supprise was the that the forks and rear suspension were gold.... I have to admit I am affraid to have such a perfectly preserved classic cut up. It is a beauty. Pics up later

Yeah the bike looks new. Feel bad a little bit actually cause it looks so new. Nice part is I should get some money from the plastics so that is a plus. Let me know when to ride down and drop off / talk numbers.

Let us get through the next few weeks, and then go ahead and bring it out.. We have the Dealer Meeting and our Open House in the next few weeks, so once those are done, we will be good..

If you go with bars you can sell the clipons to somebody with gsx-r forks. They add about 3 inches of rise for a more comfortable ride.
