The 999S was being produced when I was at the Ducati Factory last week. They were all going to Japan, it seems that the Japanese can't get enough of the 999.

great article - thanks for posting it

I don't know about that exhaust though - kinda like looking at a cat's ass when it's tail is up. I'd rather have a big aftermarket pipe hanging off the side. I'm old school. :toothe:

Jury is still out on the exhaust. I prefer the twin cans on the 996/998. Have to wait and see what the aftermarket brings out.

The exhaust is the only eye sore that I have with the 999 design. The Bipostos cover the exhaust up but the monopostos leave too much of the exhaust exposed. No worry though, they're are already carbon fiber replacement exhaust in the works. I've even seen a double can available like on the 916 series, but it just doesn't look right
