Monster ride? - May 14, 2012, 10:34 PM

So it looks like we'll be adding another Monster to the stable and I wanted to see if there was any interest in a Monster owner ride. Easy pace, great scenery, and planned stops for fuel because these things only go 100 miles between fill ups with a couple of great lunch options depending on which way we go. Guy AND girl friendly(more so because my wife would like to find other female riders to roll with in the future). I know there are lots of Monster owners that lurk, this would be for you. Would like to keep the ride under 10 people if possible. Post up interest, and we'll go from there!

What kind of monster are you getting? I would be interested in going, but I'm not sure if I will have my bike. I think I'm going to have to drop my bike off on Friday to get my tapered bearings installed.

wife is looking to scoop a new 796.

Don't know where from or to, but as this EPIC weather weekend gets closer, we'll sort something out. Thinking about planning a good route with only big easy right turns at the intersections, so I can use it as a newb/chill run in the future.

I'm game. I've been looking for more female riders myself. Will be going to North Carolina this weekend, but let me know where and when.

I know you said you're going to be away this weekend, but if you're looking for more female riders you should check out this FB event. I'm sure another ride will be planned this summer, but in the meantime would be a good chance to link up with other female riders in your area

Would you let a sport classic into the mix?

I won't be able to make it this Sunday. Already made plans to go to this: British & European Classic Motorcycle Day

I'd be up to do a monster ride the next time around though.
