Extended mirrors for a 2005 ZX-6r - June 14, 2006, 12:59 PM

I really want to have some morrors on my bike that can show me what the f*#% is behind me. I have a 2005 ZX-6R and right now I have to do an elbow dance before I can exactly figure out if johny law is behind me or not. Any suggestions?

Gxsr mirrors are longer and all you need to do is change the fitting, I have some on my bike if you want to see. About 1/2 inch longer and cheap on ebay. If your wondering why i have gxsr mirrors on my kawi, broke one and ended up getting the wrong order off of ebay, but i made em work.

I saw that they make really nice aftermarket mirrors for the GXR-1000 that I would like to get on my bike. But how do you change the fitting? Yeah I would like to check out your bike sometime.

Another idea/option...

my friend's SV came with what looks like 'mirror risers' or something. He seems to like them. Said he definitely noticed the difference.

I did a quick google search and found this:

that's the same idea. I have no idea what brand my friend's are.
