Homemade Ninja 500 Fender Eliminator - June 8, 2006, 01:55 PM

Just made this using a piece of one of those deflectors you put in front of the air conditioner vents in your house to redirect the airflow and two screws. Took about 30 mins and some creativity, but I think it looks 100 times better than those fender eliminator kits they sell for $100+. And I did this sh*t for free!

Before/after pics attached

My only concern is that I feel like the taillight wires/bulbs are a bit too exposed without the fender to protect them from rain/mud/etc. Once I figure out a solution to that, it'll be good to go.

Next step is the integrated LED taillight

Cool, unique idea using clear, curved plexiglass.
