i know some of the older 636 had issues with second gear slipping on alot of people bikes..anyone know if the newer bikes has that same issue?

make sure you are using the right oil. i had to replace my trans cuz it started slipping.

My 04 doesn't slip. Just make sure you are kicking up firmly. A lot of problems stem from guys pulling hard in first, then halfway baby tapping the shift lever up into second then WOTing some more.

I doubt the new ones have that problem.

i've had no issues with my '11 slipping. have about 4500 miles on it.
