Does anyone know what is the specified torque to bolt on the stator cover bolts and the clutch cover of a 2002 ZX12R i have ordered the covers and the gaskets do i need anything more? like new bolts etc... if the information comes from a mechanic or somebody who has the service manual would be great. thank you.

Hey bud...if you're talking about the alternator cover, you shouldn't need anything else. Just make sure you use some silicone sealanton the lead grommet.

Make sure the knock pins are in place on the crankcase. They're the little round pins sticking out at the 1-ish o'clock and 7-ish o'clock positions.

Put on the new gasket. Kinda important part. lol

Tighten the bolts to 11 ft lbs.

Oh the clutch cover, it's pretty simple. Just use the silicone again, make sure the pins are there, and throw a dab of Locktite on the two cover bolts.

Tighten them to 11 ft lbs.
