Post Needing New Fairings - May 10, 2008, 02:52 PM

So I low sided my bike on a 90 degree turn into a sign, and scratched up a good portion of my left fairing, and I'm just waiting till I save enough to get new fairings. The only problem is, OEM isn't cheap at all... so i've been checking out Ebay and such. All the aftermarket parts come from hong kong or china, and I told my friend about it, and he's telling me don't bother because all the aftermarket parts from there are made from cheap plastics and don't fit right. Is there any truth to this at all? Should I just stick with buying the fairings individually from the Manufacturer? Or where can I find some good fairings at a good price?

I've heard the don't fit right part but I would DEF keep an eye on ebay and Craigslist.

Glad you are no worse for wear tho.

RIP Greg Walker, I will never forget you

If everybody thought before they spoke, the silence would be deafening
