After some problems errupting with my bike and seemingly fixing them with a new tensioner, ive found that the cam chain guide was chewed up and pushed through its aluminum seat (part of the block) by the once loose chain. After learning of the cost to drop and install the motor from other shops i did it my self and am soon leaving to take it to Greg at Cycle Sport so he can take it home and then build up a new seat for the guide, once i get it back i will install a new guide and oil pick up as the stock one is now covered with shards of metal and plastic. Being in college money is a rare substance for me and from the looks of these unexpected costs ill be SOL for a while to come. I can only pray now that when the pices started getting chewed that the filters did their jobs and that i will be able to salvage my motor. This is by far the most depressed and unhappy i have ever been concerning a non-animate object, i feel worse about this than losing my last few girlfriends! I think ill join woody with an addition to my signature till my bike is back on the tarmac. Just to freak you all out about how much crap was in my oil pan, when i get home to night ill up load some pics.
