redo front suspension on 03 636? - August 18, 2006, 04:59 PM

Well, here is a two part question. I just dropped off my bike to have the front fork oil changed on the bike. Its at MRP motorsports. Kennyt knows I do trackdays and he pretty much convinced me to redo the front suspension. I have to admit, my front suspension feels like a ROCK! Ive heard that a lot of people do redo the front suspension on the 03's. I guess the question is, who has redone it and how much of a change did you notice?

Also, since the front end was being redone, it got me a thinking about the rear. I see a lot of people either buy a Ohlins or a Penske shock. But, MRP actually told me to just revalve the one I have!

Definately get it redone. Those Kawis have the hardest forks I've ever experienced. It will be well worth it. It will give you a ton more confidence on the street and track.

Thats what I thought. That friggin front end is HARD!! I find myself grabbing on the handlebars way too tight. In the carousel at Summit, which I know I dont have to tell you isnt exactly straight, is BUMPY. I always find myself grabbing the handlebars tight!
