got a special for a 208 180/55/17 tomahawk rear tire, brand new, installation, and balancing for a 100 bucks even. Did some research and all I found out was the tomahawks are made by a company that builds tires for airplanes. Anyone ever ride one? are they decent? or should I stick with the DunlopGP's? Getting a tire tomorrow so need to know ASAP please help!!!

I was thinking of getting them myself, the color ones.
you might want to try them just to see for real, some people here my have different opinions but i don't think they have actually tried them.

Well, I just need a back tire, I still have a Dunlop on the front and the place that I'd get it from does provide a warranty for all their work, so I'll buy one and let you all know how it works, out, I'll make sure I'll keep an extra close eye on the wear and tear and shit. I don't take the bike to the track anymore, so it will just be for cruising around and shit, but I'll let you all know how it works out and give you my opinion on them.

Tires are what keep your bike upright. I dont know why some people get cheap with tires, even some people who spent loads of money on their bike and on upgrades. Buy good tires!

Check out killboy.com and see what happened with tomahawks to thier lead guy. They also have siad that none of the ones they have had are round. Retreads and building an actual a/c tire are way different animals

Not in this case as Tomahawk specializes in retread aircraft tires.
Mostly for small General Aviation aircraft.
