depens on what you want......taller ones for more low end power, shorter ones for top end power.....the taller they are you will lose top end pull, the shorter they are you will lose low end pull. thats why the factory ones are in the middle

I just had some installed couple weeks ago. I had the bike dynoed before and after. I gained 4hp with no loss in power anywhere and gained torque throughout. It was well worth it to me

Oh and i had shorter ones installed. That's the only ones for my bike. The factory stacks couldn't be any bigger(longer) for my bike.

The only bad info I've seen on these is to stay away from the tall red plastics ones....the consensus says ther were adjustable pieces of shat...but i saw that on gixxer.com so maybe it's just bike specific. Oneway is going with the shorty aluminum ones...

its alwasy a good idea to retune anytime you do a mod that affects air/fuel ratio to 1st of all make sure the bike isnt running lean and 2nd to get the most power out of your mod

Don't waste your money on velocity stacks unless you find someone wanting to dump a set for $20 or so.

+1 i agree just leave it stock and concentrate on improving your riding skill......3 hp or so isnt going to do anything, i have see guys on bone stock bike that are silly faster than people on crazy modded out bikes and thats including suspension work too. these bikes are pretty damn good stock

$28.50 is not much so I guess you could do that and not feel like you wasted much.
