Got the bike out today getting ready for spring, and found that there was a milky film on the inside of the viewing window, took off the cap and its on the underside of the cap too, its slick, and quite a bit disconcerting, the oil is Bel-Ray, non synthetic and has only bout 1500 miles on it and 4 months old, what am I dealing with?

No worries zx its just condensate build from the rapid temp changes. Happens all the time.If your oil is 4 mo. old its not a bad idea to change it anyway. Perfect time to go full synth.
