1997 Suzuki gsxr 600 fork compatibility? - October 22, 2007, 08:33 AM

I've read the forks/triples on the 98, 99 will work on the 97. Anyone know?
Thanks.

97-00 was pretty much unchanged except for BNG (Bold, New Graphics).

They were redesigned in 01.

So yes, the forks should be the same.

I might have a dirt bike problem.

If you are looking to do an inverted front end, any 750 from 96'-99' will bolt right up with the 750 triples, or any 600 from 97-00 are all the same.

Yup. If you are just looking for fork tubes, up to 03' 600's should work. I'm not 100% sure of the axel size, but I'm pretty sure they are the same size.
