This problem has been continuing for a week now. But when I stop at a light or something my gear wont go into neutral at all, it just skips from 1st to 2nd gear. I have to turn off the bike in order for it to go into neutral normally. It happens atleast once or twice everytime I go for a ride, but then it stops. This is the first time anything has went wrong so im not experienced with the symptoms and solutions. I'm not sure if this usually happens when the clutch is out or could it be something wrong with the tranny? Any help appreciated

Sounds like your clutch needs adjusted.
If you need a hand let me know...

I would tend to agree with Steve, but does it give you trouble dropping into first? Or does it click easily in and out of 1-2 and 2-1?

Thanks for your help guys. I knew I could count on you. I adjusted it and everything is a-ok SO FAR. But yea DemonRider it clicks easily from 1-2 2-1. Do you think its anything else?

No, not particularly. It's just that I had a similar problem with clutch adjustment where I was losing first and neutral. It was getting so bad that I thought I was going to lose second gear as well. I even had to take off in second gear at times when it wouldn't drop into first or neutral. I just thought it was strange that you didn't have a problem getting into first as well. Glad it worked out well for you.
