Part needed desparately!! - March 16, 2007, 11:53 AM

Hey guys, if you know of anyone that has wrecked either an '04 or an '05 Suzuki GSX-R of any size that is willing to part it out, I really need the STVA off of the upper throttle body assembly!!!! I cannot find one anywhere and all the salvage yards that have the assembly's will not sell just that part. If you don't know what STVA means, it's the Secondary Throttle Body Actuator.

Not working...why else would i need it??
Actually, the motor in it is fine, there is a tiny little 'cog' at the top that has the teeth in it bent over. It is made into the unit so that cannot be replaced. I only need this little black part but WITHOUT buying the whole ass'y!!

I'm not sure that I found the right part on ron ayers or not, but the piece I saw was less than $40. I would think $40 is nothing if you truly are desparate. Assuming that the assembly is more (say $200) you'd be hard pressed to find someone that is going to be willing to sell you a small part of that assembly and essentially turn their $200 part into something worthless.

Do you remember the complete part number on ronayers?

Post a pic if possible, would make it easier to identify the part and help find one for you.
