Anybody seen the naked SV1000 in their area stealership's showroom? I'm looking to trade up (or add to?) this year from my SV650. I've seen and sat on the SV100S faired version at the local stealerships; the ergo's just aren't me.

I checked with five or six DC/Baltimore area dealers a couple months ago and they all said they'd be getting the unfaired version "late April/early June". Okay; I called 'em all back again last Saturday and it was like "Uhhh, we dunno when we'll get any -- or IF we'll get any".

C'mon, Suzuki -- that naked Z1000 is starting to look awful good...

Coleman powersports in woodridge has an electric blue one. It's dreamy-

Please do us all a favor and don't deal with Colemans:

Colemans is just like any other dealership...they all want to make money, your job is to get it at the lowest price. Same as auto dealership, boat dealerships and the such...I bought my SV650 there..got a good price, and will deal with them on my future bike as well. Check out www.svrider.com for sv news...somewhere I read that the 1000S was going to be redone a slight bit due to the bad egros...however I havnt seen anything from suzuki about it...most likely a "net rumor" Happy shopping!

LadyK and I both bought our R6's from Coleman's and they were actually cheaper than everyone else in the area.

HOWEVER...I will say their prices on parts are CRAZY!

Steve and I went to look at slip prices and they are asking $600 for a slip-on that sells for $455 from indysuperbikes.

Otherwise, I have no complaints, took both bikes in for the 600mi tune up and they were both done Karli's the next day and mine a day later.

Do you homework and you'll be fine.
