Here's one: http://mycaferacer.com/gs1000.html

I like this better because it's hip to be square.

Clip ons, seat, faring and paint. If you skip the paint and do the seat at home, you could do it for $500 in parts. If you want rear sets, damper and such the price goes up fast.

Dooood....that first cafe one, while not exactly how I'd do it, has the lines I'm looking for. Nice.

Was considering doing an old Yoshimura replica, but I really don't feel it. All you, homie.

That's funny because you always talked about how you were a big fan of earlier gay porn... figured you would feel the same about earlier superbikes??

I owned a 1981 GS800 and the thing was huge. The engine stuck out so far i didn't like it. If you want to customize a bike get a honda CB750. I fancy the smaller CB350s myself.

I had an '82 GS1100E.
My first new bike.
Excellent bike.
Keep an eye on the oil temps.

Awesome! This is an E bike as well.

Don't understand the E designation yet though. It's a crusty roller that turns over for a benny. Should be fun to tinker with.
