How is it speculative if Yamaha released all specs yesterday and Suzuki released all specs last week?

Where, exactly, is the speculation in that?

Right...

How many times has it been proven that the specs posted on manuf sites is total BS?

how many people buy bikes because manufacturer X makes more power than manufacturer Y.

99.9% of all sportbikes are bought because of image/branding or "because I like it" and nothing else.

I know a lot of people who do it out of brand loyalty... loyalty is based on trust. If you feel like they keep lying to you and betraying that trust... you'll find a new brand...
