Who's In Line For An '06 750??? - February 23, 2006, 01:23 PM

Just curious... I'm on the waiting list for the yellow and black.... This will be my first Suzuki (coming from 2 R6's before)... Just wondered if anybody local is as anxious as I am!

I have........ no bike.

There it is, I see you've made your decision and I see why you didn't want to mention it in R6MN, lol. Good pick in bikes though.

Awww man, I thought you knew! I've been pretty much sayin' it all over DOTCOM... I figured you were tryin' to call me out on R6MN because of my "cross over".... LOL!

And sorry Devious.... I am indeed a Yamaha man... But they don't make a middle ground... At least not one "I" can afford! 600 1000
I gotta do what I gotta... Not to mention this is the first year Suzuki has actually caught my eye.... Er'thing else to this point has just looked "fat" in my eyes....

Yeah, I figured that's what you were going to get, that's why I made that post on R6MN just to get at you a little bit. I'm not mad at you though, especially since I may go down that same path next year.

Cool...750 is a nice bike! As for middle ground...the newer 600's will keep you on your toes!!!

I almost traded my '05 for an '06 but I hate that body style...I LOVE the short pipe though!
Congrats man, you'll LOVE it!

I am considering one as soon as my arm starts working again. They don't make anymore GSXR-1000 in Y/B paint for 06', so I am game for one by April/May.

Question though: Does it come with a steering dampner like the 1000??

I did notice they move the entire console (Gear shift indicator, tach, clock, etc.) design from the 1000 to the 600 & 750's. And that pipe looks alot sharper for 06'.

Nah, no damper.... Slipper clutch though. And the gear indicator is a plus as well...

Congrats, I'd love to have the 06. I just picked up an 02 750 (black and yellow), I've had the 600 for 2 years. Yamaha makes the best watercraft out there, but in my opinion Suzuki is best on pavement. Not trying to start a turf war here, just my opinion.
