Gemini Motorcycles - A+ - October 30, 2016, 03:46 PM

The sprag clutch on my 99 Daytona 955i gave up the ghost so I sent it to Ali and the crew down at Gemini motorcycles. From our first few e-mails in August to yesterday's completion date the customer service was solid.

Ali sent me pictures of progress and I supplied any parts that were needed - whether off the parts bike or bought online. The job could have been completed in three weeks vs. four if shipping did not take so long. No big deal though.

The bike did stall as I was heading towards a friend's house but I knew it was the loose TPS sensor that Ali previously informed me of. Mended it at my friend's then rode back to Gemini where they implemented a better fix.

Projected time for the job was 10 hours. Actual time they spent over 14 hours but Ali charged me very fairly. I've put on 150 miles and the bike starts without issue. Runs great and he even addressed an oil leak.

They also elucidated a fork seal leak I wasn't aware of. Explains how the front feels like a pogo stick.

Overall I'm very pleased. Gemini Motorcycles is an honest business and now my go-to shop.

Awesome dog by the way.

Hey Sal, I was the one waiting for the service on her Ninja 650 at Gemini yesterday - nice to meet you! Ali was heading out to help you as I was leaving, so glad you got everything worked out. And yeah, Blu the dog is awesome.

(Special thanks to Ali for fitting me into yesterday's busy schedule, and to Brett for making the 650 ride better than she has in a long time!)
