Proud owner of a Daytona 675!!!! - March 21, 2012, 07:02 PM

Hey all I just bought this Daytona two weeks ago. It already had alot of upgrades so other than a quickshifter, rearsets and a 520 conv. I'm gonna leave it alone. Which brings me to my question what's a good gearing for this bike?

Gearing is always a preference of the rider.

Shorter gearing will give you a lot more 'ummph' but less top end/higher revs when cruising.

I've always been a fan of stock gearing or 1-2 teeth up in the rear. Folks that run 1-2 down in the front and 3-5 up in the back for street riding are retarded.

675 = sex.

+3 in the rear is a common mod, but there's nothing wrong with stock gearing either.

'grats mang! Come riding tomorrow!

lose that fucking reflector. And the mirrors. And the passenger pegs.

Very sexy. Saw a dude on a graphite gray looking color today and definitely the best looking non liter bike in the ss category.

It has jardine c/f slip on with dual outlet, a pc5 (which I just found out I don't need), stainless brake lines, Billet reseviours (black). The only thing I hate about this bike is no trunk ie no place to put my helmet or a spare.
