Triumph Dealers. Where and how good? - July 31, 2012, 06:21 PM

I am planning on purchasing a new bike (Tiger Explorer if anyone cares) in the next two months or so. I am wondering where the local, or worth a trip to, dealers are and how they rate on your new bike purchasing experiences. Not looking for a review of service, just who is decent or not in the sales game.

I bought my D675 at Martin Motorsports in Boyertown, PA. A great dealer BTW. Not that it is close to you.... so no help for you in particular.

Martin Motorsports in Boyertown, Pennsylvania offers new and used Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha vehicles, parts, accessories & maintenance.

I had some warranty work done at Fredericktown Yamaha-Triumph and was satisfied w/ the work done. So I would also recommend them locally.

I know there is one down or was at least down near blacksburg VA. People were good old southern friendly down there. You might be able to knock a few $ off the price too as its lower income area.

I think it was a christiansburg honda/triumph dealership.

Awesome, Thanks for the information so far. I don't mind travelling for a decent deal. I did go to Fredericktown and was pretty happy with the sales guy there (think his name was Josh). I just know they don't need to deal since they are in this area.

Second on Ian... He's a resonable guy that won't sell you a bike to make a sell, rather, sell you one because you like ot ride.

Frontline Triumph in Christiansburg and Triumph Motorcycles of Roanoke Valley in Salem in VA are both owned by the same guy.

Manassas is supposed to get a dealer soon (perhaps Colgan...) that's why Clinton Cycles lost theirs. Also there is a place in Annapolis I believe...

Interesting. Chesapeake Cycles in Annapolis just picked up the Triumph marque a couple months ago.

Thanks for all the info. I heard about the Manassas dealer also, but was told "not real soon". No clue on who it us either (best guess would be Colgan). I'll be checking out the selected dealers and may be contacting one or two of you for some possible inside lines.
