It's official. The new '06 Yamaha info is out. I'm looking at the new stuff now.

Get this..

2006 Yamaha YZF-R1 LE

- Only available in 50th Anniversary Yellow and Black.
- 43mm Ohlins forks!
- Ohlins rear shock!
- Gold Marchesini aluminum wheels!
- Adjustable rear suspension linkage!
- Diablo Corsas!
- STARTER BUTTON DOUBLES AS LAP TIMER CONTROL!

The standard R1 is only slightly different from 2005. It's available in Yellow/Black, Raven, and Blue/Black.

Here's where things get REALLY interesting.

The YZF-R6 is absolutely SICK. It has a MotoGP type stubby exhaust, and crazy body lines. It has a "straight-frame" chassis, taken from the GP M1. Fucking crazy.

NOW.....attention readers! There is ALSO a YZF-R6S! The R6S is virtually indentical to the 2005 R6, and has a lower price.

Yamaha just came with the with the fucking sickness. Let's see what the rest do. The new 10R pics are available, and looks totally different.

I'd recommend putting your deposits down on the two top-end models NOW. I doubt dealers will get many of each.

Right up the 1 hole.

Damn, looks like the FZ1 got some nice tweaks too. Aluminum frame, current generation R1 motor, braced swingarm, shorty exhaust. It's looking more like an R1 streetfighter now.

I didn't expect this to happen until 07...I'm not racing much next year so I'll be trading up my 05 race bike for the 07 model...but the 06 R6 is going to set new standards and crush everyone...

I love it..the yellow anniversary colors are just sick!

Now I'm curious to see the stats...the 05 is already no joke...pretty soon liter bikes won't be much faster!

Ha ha...all the people who need larger motors to be fast will run out of options

Yea, the R1 LE is definitely HOT... same with the R6...

I can't wait for the gsxr 600 to be announced... It looks like the only change for the gsxr 1000 are the colors this year... we just sold our first '06 yesterday... it's grey, and HOT... (I dry-humped it while it was still in the box on our loading dock)

2001 GSXR 1000 (The bike that lit the afterburner on the liter class world)
2012 Monster 1100 Evo
2003 Yamaha YZFR6 (track only)

mmm... carbon fiber

I'll trade in my 05 and you can keep your 04 and we'll get you the 07...I'll just have to pimp you out more this $5 per hour rate isn't cutting it anymore so I'm raising your rates to compensate for gas prices!
