OPP Racing Single Headlight Conversion for the R1 - October 3, 2006, 09:38 AM

NHTSA and DOT approved.
Picture of application on a bike. The headlight nolonger bolts to the fairing stay, but to the actual fairing itself. I was looking for something like this before... opinions?

I think that the single headlight look is sweet but I ride a nite and I would want as much light as my bike could put out! I am looking at putting driving lights on all of my bikes!

I've seen a few R1's with HID kits and they look great!

If you ride much at night I'd stay stock otherwise it's a good look!

OPP has bad reviews on the R1 forum. Talk to someone before purchasing from them. I was on the phone for a good 20min debating to purchase the silver carbon fiber or not. The taillight area does not need to be cut, the headlights it's about $125 to cut out each headlight. HID's only $160 but w/one headlight you lose ability to see around a turn at night time.

OPP stuff is nice though.

I have some OPP stuff...on the surface, its nice. Its no where near what i would call quality though. Lots of pin holes, thin spots and places where the resin didnt fill. If youre using it for a race bike and dont care about the details, go for it. Then again, if its a race bike, why are you spending that kind of money on an expensive body...

i'd be worried about the heat on the plastics and having that light fixture fixed ot the fairing. other than that it doesn't look to bad.. i like symmetry so it's not my thing, but not bad.
