Anyone recommend a slip-on that is loud yet has a good sound? I'm not worried about performance at this point...I want it to be loud but sound good.

I'm looking at the Muzzy and Scorpion exhausts, any others I should consider?

Thanks in advance?

on r6 check out leo vince.. they make an "ultra high mount" it sounds friggin awesome.. and has good numbers too.. and its not too noisy.. its the RIGHT amount of tone.. i love.. my friend has it on his 01 r6.. it makes me drool..

another good one is m4.. norm has that.. he can fill you in on it..

and i also like mig... it sounds great.. and im sure has good numbers too..

id recommend all of these.. but note that high mount configurations are always sexier..

i wish i had a high mount

the M4's sound really good. Dave(phife03r6) has one on his bike if you ever want to hear what it sounds like.

I have a high mount aluminum fiber MIG on my 2003 R6 and I love it. It sounds great and looks really good (at least I think so). Since MIG is no longer in business, I would recommend the Devil exhaust. It sounds very close to the MIG and it looks nice.

Here's a list of some URLs that may help you find the right exhaust. (There are more out there but these are the ones I considered when shopping for mine last year.) Some of them have sound clips so you can hear what they sound like. You can at least see what they look like. If you're looking for a loud exhaust, then D&D, in my opinion, is the one.

I've seen quite of few of these exhausts on various bikes and they all look (and sound) good. It all depends on what style you are looking for (e.g., high vs. standard mount, aluminum vs. carbon fiber, loud in the power range vs. lower RPMs, etc.).

The October 2004 issue of Sport Rider also has a feature article entitled "Pile O' Pipes" on different exhausts tested on an R6. They tested 30+ different exhausts and provided an overview of each.

Hope that helps.

Hey I would recommend akrapovic with a yamaha

Yoshimura with a suzuki

Look at the race teams and what kind of exhaust they use only if you are looking for most power out of your exhaust
