I am thinking someone either forget about in the back of a warehouse or bought it in the crate and never did anything with it. That's actually pretty awesome.

While it gets blown way outta proportion - every once and a great while - a dealer will have something stuck away in a crate... It's rare - but it does happen... A collector acquaintance I know found and purchased a cb-1 in such condition a few years back - very cool find... It's never the hottest bike of the time - it's usually something that gets overlooked - etc like the cb-1... However, the interesting thing I found out... If a dealer sells you such a bike - new - 0 - miles - etc. They have to sell it with the factory warantee - bwhahahahaa... I can only imagine riding in a rd400 and seeing a mechanic scratch his head on how to fix/work on a 30 year old bike....

I would just take it to Scot and pray he didn't take it for a test ride. Can you imagine what that would do to the suspension?

I blew mine up. The suspension was relatively ok.

Praying for the day SteveZX9 returns....
