Looks too long and lazy but I kind of like it anyway (I also kind of liked the look of the suzuki vx800 which has a stretched out look to it):

Agreed. A 1-2" shorter swinger and it would definitely look the part.

So reading that article, they talk about this "inexpensive kit". It's a couple fenders, a subframe and a seat. I guarantee those wheels alone cost more than that kit. Then you need lights, shocks, exhaust, and a bunch of other stuff.

Still a cool looking bike, but not exactly cheap.
