I'm tired of this blue balls, teasing bullshit! The Jap moto manufacturers need to release decent naked bikes for the U.S. market....that's not a ltr... for fucks sake!

I'm obviously a fan of the "tuning fork" manufacturer, but that looks like they're just stealing from the previous two generations of the Tuono...

It's actually not a Yamaha design.

Oberdan Bezzi is a well known Italian designer who happens to be a big bike fan as well.

He often designs bikes based on what he knows about the brand, the history and the directions they are going. This one was based on exposing the new angles with the inward cylinder tilt.

Some of his designs see daylight Most of them make sense.

Fair enough. But regardless of the manufacturer or designer, it looks slightly derivative, as opposed to an original, with the notable exception of the exhaust. It's the bikini fairing and the angular lines that remind me of the Tuono. It's like a sleeker, updated Tuono...had Aprilia not done just that with the naked version of the RSV4.

That said, I'm sure that it's hard to design a totally original-looking naked (that doesn't look awful), and if you're going to be compared looks-wise to an existing naked, there are worse things than a Tuono.
