$50 of Starkist Tuna for $0.00 - October 16, 2015, 12:13 AM

If you purchased Starkist Tuna between 2009 - 2014 you're entitled to $25 in cash or $50 worth of Tuna.

I for one certainly noticed that both the amount of Tuna Fish and the Tuna cans had gotten smaller after about 2007. Whereas prior, I would be able to make 2 sandwiches from a can in earlier years, I could only make about 1.5 with today's cans.

The Lawsuit claims that StarKist Co. ("StarKist") under-filled certain 5 oz. canned tuna products in violation of state and federal law. StarKist denies that it underfilled its products and denies that it did anything wrong. The Court did not rule in favor of Plaintiff or StarKist. Instead, the parties agreed to a Proposed Settlement to avoid the expense and risks of continuing the lawsuit.

Sidetone: Also, I've noticed in the last year that Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice bottles have decreased from 64 oz. to 60 oz. I save the bottles for Sharps containers for my relatives who use insulin needles.

This is on the honor system. No proof of purchase or receipts necessary.
