Looks like it has some Evo X genes in the grill. I like the look. The headlights extend WAY too far back though.

So much better than what I thought it was going to be. I thought it might turn out like a flashy G35.

yeah, the first spy shots of the early prototypes were an awkward g35 with odd front bumper and spoiler. It definitely came out nice, i wish it was boxier though, skylines are all boxy and bold, but who gives a shit what i think because i have no doubt that if it is anything like the legacy it follows, it is a machine worth awe for generations to come.

More than double the stock horse of a restricted R34 and just over double the stock horses of an unrestricted one... that car is going to be a tuner's wet dream for the next decade...

Compared to it's German and Italian targets, it's a steal. Japan's "Corvette".

How do you figure? R34 was rated at "280hp" but in stock trim would do very close to that to the wheels. With the derestricted boost it typically did closer to 300-310 to the wheels. In either case 2 x 280 is 560, not 480, and I bet to the wheels its around 380 to 390ish stock, or about 30-40% more than the r34...not suprising as it has about 40% more displacement than the RB26DETT and a lower stock redline. While the 3.8 is a damn good motor (based on how well the vg35de takes to mods, but the bottom end of the motor is no where near as robust as the RB (two rods per jounal compared to one, balance shafts, worse secondary and tertiary balance, etc. ) while it will make power easier due to the larger displacement, I doubt it will achieve the same levels as the iron block online six (in addition to being more expensive due to the two bank design requiring more complex intake and exhaust plumbing and a tighter bay for big turbos)

this car makes me pop wood. i love how they kind of kept the boxness of the R34 but still updated it. the head lights and front end ROCK!
