Personally, this - "it is what it is" bullshit is the most fkng annoying.
Loosely translated to "Que sera, sera", equally as irking

- Who dat talking bout beating dem Saints?

- Anything that came out of Jim Zorn's mouth.

- It's not about what you make, it's about what you keep.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

"neither here nor there" = I don't have the balls to say what's on my mind
"thanks in advance" = sounds more sophisticated than "thanks" plus I'm trying to be metro and want to sound sophisticated

Yup, preggers needs to GTFO. And if you choose to say or type vacay instead of vacation, you are due for some serious introspection.

"it is what it is" =! "que sera, sera"

"que sera, sera" means "what will be, will be" implying a fatalistic view of existence. Another way to put it is "what will happen, will happen, regardless of what anyone does." It is not in any way a loose translation of "it is what it is".

"It is what it is" signifies an inability to sugar coat something, make it seem better, or alter it in some way so it is more palatable to someone. A shitty situation is a shitty situation.

To me the most annoying phrase is:

"No, I am on the rag."

"Riding a race bike is an art - a thing that you do because you feel something inside."

"I don't like being famous - it is like a prison. And driving for Ferrari would make it far worse."

"I race to win. If I am on the bike or in a car it will always be the same."

"I'm Valentino Rossi. And I want to be a person, not an icon."
