Wink 21 and over, Legal Marijuana - January 13, 2010, 04:39 PM

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...BA191BH4AR.DTL

"AB390 would allow possession, sale and cultivation of marijuana for people over 21, and impose a $50-per-ounce sales tax, much like taxes on tobacco and alcohol. The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control would be responsible for regulation."

Nope, considering in another 10-20 years, it will probably be an island.

eventually all the weed will be taxed and sprayed with id chemicals so they can be identified, and if you are caught without official gov certified (TAXED) weed, you will be fined a shitload and your shit will be confiscated.

I think this is a great step, the cost of enforcing law associated with marijuana are too high when the money can be spent elsewhere. Legalizing it, taxing it, and controlling it would be a great step and could potentially bring in some money or at least neutralize the cost of regulation. It should be controlled in the same manner alcohol is controlled.

Even if it were to become legal, as Boom had mentioned, I doubt many companies will allow workers to be users (especially gov' workers).

I imagine it would be treated like alcohol. As long as you're not high when you get to work, and don't smoke it at work, you'd be ok.
