4 Wheel Drivers Needed - December 19, 2009, 03:20 PM

For all the good samaritans out there. Bunch of the hospitals and other establishments in the area are apparently in need of drivers with 4WD vehicles. In any case, you can check it out on CBS.

Audi has AWD - but not the clearance to make it out there.
Wishing I had a Range Rover Defender right about now.

I just called Loudoun and that don't have need for any Sterling/Ashburn/South Riding folks now. I'm on call for Loudoun tomorrow morning.

I called Fair Oaks, but the guy I spoke with was away from the "Snow Emergency Desk" and I need to call him back.

Just call some of the hospitals around you, let them know where you are and where you're willing to go. If they need you, they'll let you know. If they don't need you now, they may ask to put you on call and take you're information.

Just spent 11 hours helping out INOVA Alexandria. The F150 did real well in the snow. I'd like to give a shout out to Clyde's, they gave all the volunteers free lunch. My 8oz Filet Mignon was cooked perfect! INOVA had a good spread of snacks and treats for us to.
