The 80's was definitely a turning point for music... MTV helped spur all this along as well.

neat stuff. would have been cool if the lengths of the songs were proportional to how long they were on the top spot. that way you would hear more of the most popular songs.

late 70s early 80s was the time for music. Hasn't been matched IMO.
