I live in Woodbridge and commute to SE DC. I either ride in on my bike or slug it. Whenever there's a problem in the 395 HOV lanes, it's caused by drivers who are driving alone prior to the HOV switch. EVERY SINGLE TIME. It used to be the same in the 95 HOV lanes until they made it a 24/7 toll road. Once 395 is a toll road, all of the dumbasses who cause these accidents will be out of the lanes, for which I will be extremely happy. And the back breaking bumps on the 395 section are pretty much gone, since they'll be maintained by the toll company.

This, even in the afternoon they start this bullshit at 3:00PM now the time I go home.

Looks like 66 has caused a lot of pain for many. Need to keep supporting the AMA to keep the bike benefits going. I've invested in heated gloves/jacket to keep commuting along 95/395, even have the option of working in Tyson's now thanks to the 495 HOV. Can't imagine sitting in the traffic I see everyday.

I don't think they will sell them to the US anymore, we just tried to buy some of the NANO's this morning.

Is Blue better for damaging optics? In the past 3 years they're saturated my neighborhood with speed and red light cameras.
I've got at least NINE in less than a 1/2 mile radius, with 6 of them within a 1/4 mile.

I was somewhat inaccurate with my comment.

Blue is best for damaging human eye sight.. Not sure what's best for optics.

Which is why I never understood why so many products and cars gauge clusters (looking at you mid-to-late 2000's VW) use Blue LEDs and Blue-White LEDs.

Anyone who knows anything about human eyesight, knows Blue is one of the worst wavelengths for night vision.

that is so funny... i never realized this.

I have yellow clock lights, and red lights on my tv switch...and it was all good.
at my other house my TV switch light is blue and the shit keeps me up.

Also inside my truck I have yellow lights... just had a LED fog light installed and they used a blue rocker switch and that shit fucks me up driving. even the installer said if you do not like the blue let me know..its a little distracting..

I did not know that. That is indeed bullshit.

I know of the terrible heaves or humps on the 395 HOV lanes. I'm not holding my breath that the toll company will keep up their end of the bargain. What's their motivation? I'd think it would have to be pretty seriously awful (damaging vehicles) for them to lose toll revenue. It's not like they have competition from the freeway lanes when it's gridlock.

When in doubt always go with the 50 cal, is it over kill? Sure, but not every time, so play the odds and it all works out.
