7 from Berryville to Winchester - February 7, 2013, 02:37 PM

Anyone have an idea of what traffic is like from Berryville to Winchester around 4pm? I expect it not to be great but is it bad like 270 to frederick bad?

Its not too hateful actually.. the really bad traffic is between Chantilly and Middleburg.. once you get past there, it opens up..

I come through there somewhat often and other than at all the lights when you get near 81, it isn't bad.

IIRC from my days when I commuted from Winchester to Chantilly, once you get past Round Hill on 7 things open up, unless it's snowing or there was an accident.

Tip - don't speed on 7 between Purcellville and Round Hill; Loudoun deputies love that stretch of road.

Probably too late to help, but I agree with everyone that it shouldn't be bad. I pass through there often as I go back and forth between Berkeley Springs and Reston.
