Amazon Kindle eBook Reader - May 1, 2009, 06:10 AM

My g/f was telling me about how awesome this thing looked. She reads a ton, me, not so much. Nevertheless, it's expensive but pretty cool. Rather than carrying around a bunch of books, dealing with the library, etc, you pay a buck or two through amazon and download a new book whenever you're ready. No bookmarks or losing your place, seems like a pretty cool gadget. This is definitely a good gift idea, I'm sure I'll end up getting it for her at some point....

I'll pick one of those up and have it read me 'A Brief History Of Time'. It will be like Hawking is right there with me.

Yeah, it's nice but $359 is a lot of money...library doesn't cost...that's why she hasn't bought it for herself, she can't justify spending money when she doesn't have to.
