American Diabetes Association Tour De Cure - January 25, 2010, 03:05 PM

Decided to sign up early this year and shoot for the 100 mile tour. This gives me more time to raise more money for a good cause. It also gives me a goal to start training for. So if anyone with a road bike wants to join me in training or join the tour to cure Let me know. If you can donate anything to help me reach my goal it would be greatly appreciated. To sponser me click the link.

Thanks
Dan

Dan, I'm going to be signing up in the very near future for the ride, but my brother shot me a great idea.....

Another Team Bam Bam event! I know we all have family members and friends who have diabetes. Some of those folks have passed from this terrible illness. In an effort to remember Bam Bam, I think I'm going to get a Team Bam Bam going for the Tour de Cure. I will be starting another thread. If you want to join the team, I'm sure there's a way to become a part of the team even though you are registered.

I will most likely being doing the 33 mile route with my brother and, possibly, my father, too.

I'll be in. Dan already talked me into doing the ride. Now I just have to haul my butt of the couch and do it lol.

I've done this ride the last 3 years from Columbia and will do so again this year, I do the 50K version, 3+ hours of cycling is plenty for me.
