There's a few peeps here on .NET that may be able to help you out.

Or you could head to VA Arms in Manassas. Great shop with great service.

You may want to post up some specifics on what you have and what you'd like to get done.

VA Arms sends their stuff to WAR Rifles in Manassas:

Class 3 Weapons, Custom Rifles, Gunsmith Services,| Manassas Park, VA

He's a good guy and actually just finished his shop not too long ago. Not too bad of a turn around. Just be aware...whether WAR, Hatfields, or wherever...no matter what you are getting done it's going to take little while. Like two week minimum turn around times.

I only do ARs. the 1911 thing will come with time... a lot of time.

some things are still out of my skill level or tool set up so i send them to WAR. WAR is really busy with work (which is good)... Hatfields has been a rip off (prices)when it comes to work and parts. Hatfields has quoted me prices and the final price has never even been close.

Thanks for the advice all. BTW M, haven't updated you on the new toys I've picked up.

I'm actually looking for someone to polish the trigger and sear on the CZ 75 I just got, for now. I may get some new sights for it too, but I think I may be able to do those myself.

May be pinging some of you all on the AR help that you mentioned, hopefully soon.
