im assuming its some knida govt contractor(like Lockheed) never heard of the place before, probably one of the new buisnesses in vint hill.
http://www.rockwellcollins.com/

you can get a nice ranch style house on a decent lot from 250 up. i saw some nice one for 300.
from 350 to 400 you can get a new house in one of the new neighborhoods. check homesdatabase.com
if you have any questions on locations or anything, PM me. have been here all my life. AAAHHHH!

yup, it's that type of place. I just can't find any info on exactly where it is. I guess it doesn't really matter, because Warrenton doesn't look that big.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking about finding work on the west side of things, so I can get a decent house for a fair price. I just saw an interesting job out there today.

Could be the place on top of the mountain- US Army Warrenton Training Center Station B. There has been a lot of construction going on there for a while.

There are some other low-key sites in the surrounding area too.

Hold on now, don't fill up your tanks just yet. I would have to finish up one of the projects I'm working on now in order to leave in good conscious. That's at least 4 months, and only if the stars line up.

I think I may inquire about this job now though. I work in SE DC and there is just no way I would do the commute from out in the foothills (where I'm interested in living). I wouldn't neccesarily live in Warrenton (a 30 min radius will do..) and I would probably rent for a year.

Just day dreaming maybe!

They don't mention the customer in their ad, but reading between the lines, it could be the Army.

Hey man. Long time no talk. Anyways I live out in Culpeper and do that commute into SW everyday. If you are trying to ride you would really rack up some miles and have to slab it, but it's much nicer out there in Warrenton and further out. I just ride/drive to Vienna and take the metro in. To each their own.

Thanks for the advice. I'm trying to keep the commute to 30 min. I just can't see spending much more than an hour a day commuting, like so many people do around here. We'll be doing another noob ride next month - hope to see you out.
