90 percent of black people I meet call me either "Fitzner" or "Fritzer"

I don't understand why.

Some people call me Jason. Even though it clearly says Justin.

You should change your name to James.

Well my name is "spanish", so for those that actually try to call me by my name, they get it wrong solely becuase of the pronunciation of the letters. I honestly dont care, but some people seem to be bothered when their name is not pronouced properly.

Its funny when somebody corrects my accent when I pronounced their names, only if they knew...

On that note, I've been called "Julio" solely because its a popular spanish name, and I am hispanic. (my name is Elio, not even close to Julio)

No one can pronounce my last name. I think two people have gotten it correct in my life.

My name is about as anglo as it can get.
German-English first name, French-English surname.
Both are fairly common names in American and yet I sit in awe sometimes at how people completely botch, mispronounce, or misspell it.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

For some reason a lot of people are afraid of saying my last name (particularly hockey fans and speakers of french). Roy seems simple enough (rhymes with boy) but I guess having it as a last name confuses people. When I say my name I get asked how to spell it more than half the time.

My wife's grandmother (Chilean) could not say my first name right. She would pronounce it key-erk. In a year of living in my house should never did get it.

Most of the people at work are foreign born so, when I first meet them, I ask them to say their name for me. I do my best...
