Anyone have Esurance? - April 30, 2008, 11:13 AM

A friend of mine is looking to switch his insurance for his car and motorcycle to Esurance. Anyone have any experience with them?

esurance like to screw around w/ you, always calling trying to solicit more money. they're payment system was FUBAR when i had them, but i never had to use them.

this was back in 2002. so i dont know how they are now.

After being dropped by SF after my reckless, I switched to esurance. No complaints. They took care of the scrapes I put on my truck quick and easy.

From what I've read, a lot of their systems had issues a couple years back - but it looks all good now. I don't get calls about anything, or anything negative I can think of.

Progressive here, $300 for the year, full coverage. I think it's cheaper because it's a V-Twin rather than an I4. Just a guess though. Or it could be that I'm an old bastard..........

No problems with esurance, EXCEPT for the inability to see someone in person, and they weren't really very interested when I got hit by a drunk driver. Some insurance will provide you with a lawyer and all. Esurance is very good, but very hands off.

had them for the last year on my truck. Was cheaper then gieco after my accident so i lived with it. Got a good deal through the allstate agent my gf uses and i just switched to them last month.

Can't complain, i dont really need to see someone and gieco suxed with my accident so i didnt expect esurance to be worse if it happened again. i do all my banking etc online so esurance just made is easier.
