Anyone have a FLIR thermal imaging recommendation? - May 6, 2013, 10:03 AM

The FLIR First Mate MS-224 and 324 seem to have the capablilities of thermal imagers that cost $1K more. Has anyone here used them or have other recommendations? For general use, night hikes, and home defense.

Wait.

There is a manufacturer coming out with an option that will hook to your smart phone. It will be super cheap by comparison.

I have two IR cameras and probably have 12K wrapped up in the two of them but they will be worth about $0.10 on the dollar in about a year.
