Arrow Anyone hiring for an entry level IT position (Sys Admin, Helpdesk etc) - June 21, 2016, 10:12 PM

Hey guys I've got a candidate available who is in need of an entry level position so that he can build up his professional job experience in the IT field. He has an Associates Degree in IT with a Focus in Networking. An entry level Sys Admin position where he could learn from his peers would be best suited for him but a Helpdesk position would suffice.

Clearance: None but has a background that is clearable
Location: Lives in Fairfax VA but willing to drive anywhere in the DC Metro.

If anyone could help out I owe you one. Please let me know

Much appreciated

HEY!

I don't want to cut the line or thread jack, BUT I too am looking for such a position (Entry Level IT position). I have an A.A. in Computer Science and one year from my B.A. I'm also A+ certified and soon to be Network+.

No clearance here, but mine is also clearable.
Lives in Laurel, MD but willing to travel also.

Thanks!

Ha, yea but:

1) We aren't another uptight contractor/warm body shop. People are actually smart, self-starting, and fun to work with
2) We are a small company punching waaaaaay above our size in terms of caliber of work (we aren't just staffing junior folks at tier 1 positions)
3) How can you not trust a company that puts me knee dragging on the website?

I must have missed the knee dragging image. I just skimmed the landing page on the job postings section.

PM position sounds interesting. I have the PMP but no clearance. Really beginning to understand just how valuable that is around here.

The company is legit. No idea why they chose a sub-url of "Silk Road" though given the modern euphemism it's associated with.

A year in this job market is like a decade. Some companies wont be here in a year or theyll be on a draw down plan just to keep the lights on
