Anyone need their truck or trailer Line-X'd?? - March 28, 2009, 11:12 PM

My son picked up a new sponsor. http://donovan.willowrow.com/index.p....php&iItemNo=0
Line-X-It the Line-X dealer for Fredericksburg is sponsoring his racing. I got them to offer a "racer discount" to anyone I send to them. To do a trailer, they normally charge $8.50 sq/ft. They will do trailers at a discounted rate of $8 sq/ft. So a 7x10 trailer would normally be $595 (if I am doing my high school math right ) with discount it would be $560 and he will line the ramp free. The ramp itself would be enough sq ft to be several hundred dollars.

If you want a truck Line-X'd, he will knock $50 off the price of doing the bed. Regular price is $449 for a short bed under the rail, and $489 for a long bed under rail. If you want/need the lining to go over the bed, it adds $50. They can also do bike frames, swingarms and stuff like that.

It is not a ton of $$$ off their regular price, but I think their regular price is lower than the other dealers in the area so they don't have as much room to work with. So if you needs some stuff done, give Phillip a call at 540-361-1949 and tell him Todd sent you.

Line-X rules! Mine is 7 yrs old, and is tough as it ever was. I recommend it highly to anyone who's thinking about getting it done.

If you were to cover your plastics with it, it would certainly add some weight, but would be damn near crash proof. Maybe I'll do a set of plastics for his SuMo so when he goes skipping down the pavement it will stand up to the abuse.

Would I get a racer's discount if I bring in a horse trailer?

I am sure you would, give Phillip a call. hell, you don't have to be a racer, that is just what I am calling it so when he gets some business he will know it is a result of sponsoring Donovan. makes him more likely to sponsor him again next year.
