Anyone recommend a house inspector? - September 25, 2009, 10:45 AM

I need to hire an inspector to take a look at my downstairs bathroom to access damage?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

No. Basically my roommate who is moving out left my bathroom in an utter mess. Mold and rust were forming in the bathroom. Thanks to my other roommate he and his gf spent all night cleaning every inch of the bathroom to get rid of the mold but the rust is still on the wall.

The roommate who moved out said she is not responsible for the rust forming there as that is from poor construction. If that's so then how come my master bathroom in my room doesn't have any rust forming and I have the same material and same paint? I told her it's from water getting all over the bathroom and she never cleaned it up.

So I need an inspector to find out how much damage she is liable for.

Thats complete and utter bullshit.

I hope you have her security deposit tightly in hand.

This issue is not my area of expertise, if there is anything I may do I do, however, know that we use Service Pro in mold situations. They have those bright green vans that putt around.

Keep her security deposit, what does the lease say about getting it back?

I hope you took photos and burnt them on to a cd in case something happens to your phone

Yes I have copied the pictures to my network here at work and have sent them out to multiple attorneys.

I still have her security deposit in hand.

I also have a signed lease agreement from her that states she is responsible for any damage.
