Anyone work for AT&T??? - February 25, 2016, 02:59 PM

Or have a friend that works for AT&T? I need a favor.. have a corporate device that was turned in from an ex employee and it's icloud locked.

It's been a while so they aren't in our system anymore and we don't have the info for them.

Need to get some info from an att employee..

Give Tim Cook a call. Heard is really into helping people get into third-party locked iPhones.

Depending on the product and the settings, if the phone was still enrolled, you could factory wipe it remotely. Not sure what the end goal in this case is though.

If you wipe the phone it temporarily breaks all links to the iCloud account currently linked to phone.

During the set-up process the user can choose to restore from an existing iCloud, set-up a new account, or skip it altogether.

on chinese phones?

There is no legit way to bypass an icloud locked device without providing proof of purchase to apple.

iCloud or Find My iPhone?

iCloud you can bypass once you do a DFU restore.

If Find My iPhone is enabled, that locks it down and won't allow a wipe and reset of the device.

They kind of go hand in hand... Activation lock If the account is logged into icloud on any device with ios 7 or later and you don't have the info it's a paperweight.
